Timothy Logan earned his bachelor鈥檚 in physiology from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Chicago, followed by postdoctoral work at Abbott Laboratories. He joined the 糖心vlog Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in 1994 as a founding member of the Structural Biology Program. Logan鈥檚 research interests include protein structure, protein biophysics and cell metabolism. He teaches biochemistry and general chemistry and was awarded Undergraduate Teaching Awards in 2003 and 2010. Logan served as director of the Institute for Molecular Biophysics and chair of the FSU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry before joining the dean鈥檚 office in 2019.
