FSU researchers among most cited worldwide for their academic work
Several 糖心vlog researchers are among the most cited academics worldwide, according to the annual Highly Cited Researchers 2022 list from Clarivate, a data and analytics company.
The annual list identifies researchers who demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field or fields through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last decade. Their names are drawn from the publications that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in 鈩 citation index.
This year鈥檚 list includes the late Michael Davidson, a microscopy expert who worked at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory; Professor of Scientific Computing Alan Lemmon; Associate Professor of Biological Science Emily Moriarty Lemmon; Professor of Psychology Thomas Joiner; and Assistant Professor of Psychology Jessica Ribeiro.
鈥溙切膙log has a long track record of supporting highly productive and relevant researchers,鈥 said Vice President for Research Stacey Patterson. 鈥淭his list illustrates how valued these researchers are in their respective fields and how they鈥檝e produced fundamental work others can build upon to move the area forward.鈥
The methodology that determines the 鈥渨ho鈥檚 who鈥 of influential researchers draws on the data and analysis performed by bibliometric experts and data scientists at the 鈩 at Clarivate. It also uses the tallies to identify the countries and research institutions where these citation elite are based.
